A lovely "Storybook" cottage with catslide roofline, built some time between 1928 and 1932, first occupied by William George Ambridge, "clk Health of Animals Br Dept of Agric" (City Directory 1932) along with his wife Elizabeth.
An 1928 aerial photo of the south end of Old Ottawa East shows subdivided farmland in the process of being turned into suburbs. The location of 9 Mutchmor (here not yet built) is circled in red.
