Built some time between 1901 and 1912, most likely toward the latter date, rental ads suggest 1909 — a 3-row of two storeys height on a limestone foundation. One of the three units is the mirror plan of the other two (feel free to work out the combinations and permutations on your own time) meaning that one unit gets it's own porch while the other two have to share.
Construction is brick veneer on wood. If the BV seems a tad pale, that's because it's been painted a light grey. Assume that a layer of Ottawa's finest red brick lies beneath. Irregularities in said brickwork above the farthest 2nd-storey window raise the question of whether #149 once had it's own small balcony.
