Aerial photography and newspaper mentions suggest a build date between 1928 and 1936. As far as I can tell, the entire house (well the front and sides at any rate) are clad in the same faux-stone veneer, comprising one-only mold design, suggestive of a Babylonian hieroglyph, each slab oriented the same way. Neat and orderly, but it kinda kills the verisimilitude.
