200 Cartier Street, Golden Triangle

This small, all-brick (Goad) 2½-storey house was built some time between 1901 and 1908 per the City Directories. It was briefly occupied by David H. Keely, "genl supt tel br Dept Pub Wks" (1908) and was listed as a branch of the Bank of Ottawa by 1909.

Goad (1912) notes that Cartier St. was originally called "John."
